Renowned Nollywood actor Jim Iyke has shed light on his approach to questions about his past relationship with actress Nadia Buari. In a previous interview, he refrained from discussing her and even asked, "Who is that?" when prompted about her.

However, in a recent interview with Starr Drive FM, Jim Iyke explained his seemingly evasive response. He stated that discussing explicit details about past relationships would be disrespectful to their current partners. His comments reflect a desire to maintain respect and privacy in the context of their respective personal lives and relationships, highlighting the complexity of discussing past relationships in the public eye.

“If I answer this question, it will be a lose-lose. If I were to say certain things, it would be to the detriment of my partner and also of her husband.

“Which husband wants to hear about an ex talking sexually explicitly with who he married, and people don’t understand that this was an act of respect?

“I didn’t want to offend a married woman with four kids, so it was better to leave the past in the past. I must respect my current relationship and Nadia’s husband.”
