Israel DMW reveals that he was compelled by his ex-wife's parents to pay them N1 million for marrying her as a virgin.

In a revelation, singer Davido's Logistics Manager, Israel Afeare, known as Israel DMW, has made claims about his estranged wife Sheila's parents allegedly compelling him to share the money sprayed at their wedding. According to Israel DMW, the reason behind this was that he married their daughter as a virgin.

In addition to sharing the money, Israel DMW asserted that his former parents-in-law also compelled him to purchase an iPhone 14 Pro Max, valued at N1.2 million, for their daughter.

The public disclosure of such details adds to the ongoing narrative surrounding the marital issues between Israel DMW and Sheila, shedding light on the intricacies and challenges within their relationship.

Sharing a screenshot of a bank transfer receipt via his Instagram page, he wrote, “The receipt of [N]1m, part of money sprayed at the wedding. Sheila’s parents held my neck to share with them since their daughter is a virgin. They also compelled me to buy her iPhone 14 Promax [N]1.2m, she’s using.”

The latest revelation from Israel DMW, where he claims that his estranged wife Sheila's parents compelled him to share wedding money and buy an expensive iPhone due to her being a virgin, comes in the midst of the ongoing public dispute between the couple. This revelation follows Sheila's denial of Israel DMW's earlier allegations. 

The marital discord between Israel DMW and Sheila continues to unfold with conflicting narratives. Sheila has countered Israel's previous allegations, asserting that she left the marriage due to domestic violence.

Contrary to Israel's portrayal of her family as "gold diggers," she emphasized her well-to-do background and highlighted her familial connection to former Edo State governor, Adams Oshiomhole, stating that they are "first cousins."

The couple, who tied the knot on Thursday, October 20, 2022, in a traditional ceremony held in Benin City, found themselves separating just eight months after their lavish wedding. Allegations of domestic violence and infidelity from both parties have fueled the public discourse surrounding their tumultuous relationship.
