Reality TV star and singer, Hazel Oyeze Onou, widely known as Whitemoney, is confidently proclaiming that his latest song, 'Oyoyo,' is worthy of a Grammy award. The BBNaija Season 6 winner asserts that the track is currently the "biggest song" in Eastern Nigeria.

In a recent interview, Whitemoney expressed his conviction, stating, "My latest single, Oyoyo, is at the moment the biggest song in the East. That track deserves a Grammy, and this is not me capping; rather, I am just stating the fact."

In addition to his musical pursuits, Whitemoney shared his aspirations for a career in Nollywood during the interview. He expressed confidence in his ability, talent, and charisma, aiming to become a top Nollywood superstar. He disclosed that he has several movies in the works, with plans for them to hit the cinemas before the end of the year.

The context of Whitemoney's Grammy mention aligns with recent developments, as the Grammy organizers introduced a Best African Music Performance category.

Notably, the inaugural nominations for the 2024 edition of the award include songs by prominent artists such as Davido, Musa Keys, Ayra Starr, Burna Boy, Asake, Olamide, and Tyla. Whitemoney's bold statement reflects the competitive and ambitious nature of the music industry.
