Irish chef Alan Fisher has achieved a remarkable feat by breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking individual.

On November 7, 2023, Fisher cooked for 119 hours and 57 minutes in Japan, surpassing the previous record held by Nigerian chef Hilda Baci, who cooked for 93 hours and 11 minutes.

Hilda Baci, who was awarded the Guinness World Record in June 2023, gracefully congratulated Alan Fisher on his incredible achievement, showing sportsmanship and camaraderie in the culinary world.

Alan Fisher's accomplishment highlights the dedication and passion of chefs in pushing the boundaries of their craft.

However, the Nigerian Cookathon queen took to the comment section to congratulate the new record holder.

Hilda Baci wrote; “Huge congratulations to Alan Fisher! 119hrs 57mins is a huge achievement, and I wish him all the best as the new world record holder! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾.”

She added; “I’m so happy to have held a record so prestigious and profound I will forever be honored and grateful for all the love and support ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
