Diddy and ex-girlfriend Cassie Settle Lawsuit Amid Explosive Rape Allegations

American rapper and music executive Sean Combs, widely known as Diddy, and his estranged girlfriend, singer Cassie, have reportedly reached a settlement following a lawsuit filed by Cassie.

The lawsuit, filed in Federal District Court in Manhattan, accused Diddy of rape, physical abuse, and other allegations spanning from 2005 to 2018.

Cassie, whose real name is Casandra Ventura, claimed in the suit that Diddy had forced her into sexual acts, provided drugs and alcohol, and subjected her to abuse.

The lawsuit was filed on Thursday, and Cassie's lawyer announced on Friday that both parties had reached an agreement to resolve the claims amicably.

While the terms of the settlement were not disclosed, Cassie expressed in a statement, "I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control. I want to thank my family, fans, and lawyers for their unwavering support." Diddy also added, "We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best."
