Grammy-nominated Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has shared valuable advice for aspiring musicians, emphasizing the importance of embracing originality in their artistic endeavors.
Reflecting on his own journey, the OBO crooner recounted how he made the significant decision to relocate from the United States to Nigeria in pursuit of a musical style that differed from what was commonly known in the West.

“I used to live in America. I could have stayed just done what everybody else was doing. My calling was to go back home [Nigeria] and represent the culture [Afrobeats] and eventually, it still brought me back out here. But everybody else has their own path. The most important thing is be original.”
