Nigerian singer Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has achieved the remarkable feat of being ranked as Nigeria's most streamed artist of 2023 on Spotify, according to data published by the streaming platform on Wednesday.

Asake's dominance extended to the list of most streamed tracks, with three of his songs making it into the top 10. "Lonely at the Top" secured the top spot, "2:30" claimed the fourth position, and "Amapiano," featuring Olamide, rounded out the list at tenth place.

In the broader context of Spotify Wrapped for Nigeria, Asake claimed the overall top spot, surpassing other notable artists.

Burna Boy secured the second position, while Davido followed closely in third place. Seyi Vibez, Omah Lay, BNXN, Rema, Odumodublvck, Olamide, and Wizkid also featured in the top 10.

Notably, Asake's popularity extended beyond Nigeria, as he emerged as the most streamed artist in Togo and Ghana.

This achievement underscores his widespread appeal and success across multiple African markets.
