#JusticeForMohbad: Viral Video Depicting Naira Marley's Arrest by Nigerian Police [Video]

A video capturing the arrest of the well-known Nigerian singer Azeez Fashola, widely known as Naira Marley, by the Nigerian Police has emerged online, triggering reactions across social media platforms.

As previously reported by Intel Region, Naira Marley, the "Soapy" crooner, was arrested in connection with the demise of his former signee, Ilerioluwa Aloba, better recognized as Mohbad.

This development followed Naira Marley's announcement on his verified X (formerly Twitter) account that he had returned to Lagos, Nigeria.

 
He wrote; “I’d like to share that I’ve just arrived back in Lagos, Nigeria to assist the authorities with the ongoing investigation. It’s important I do my part for Imole. I’ll be meeting with the police with hopes for the truth to be uncovered and for justice to prevail.”

Reacting to this, Nigerian police PRO, SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirms the arrest. He wrote; 

“Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley has been taken into custody for interrogation and other investigation activities…”

Confirming the arrest, a video has surfaced online depicting Naira Marley fully concealed as he is apprehended and transported into police custody for further investigation.
