The sensational singer, Sarah Aderibigbe, popularly recognized as Ayra Starr, has shared a piece of her past, revealing that she used to sell vegetables and fruits alongside her grandmother.

In a recent Instagram story, the 'Rush' artist expressed her gratitude for her journey and the progress she has made. She recounted how she used to sing for customers who frequented her family's vegetable and fruit business.

She wrote, “[I] Will forever be grateful for where I am in life. God really blessed me.

“6 years ago, this used to be me selling vegetables and fruits with my grandma, singing for whoever wanted to hear me. Now people are paying to watch me perform.”

It's worth noting that Ayra Starr skyrocketed to stardom in 2021 after her debut eponymous extended play, featuring the hit track 'Away,' was released. This followed her introduction as an artist under Mavin Records.
