Davido, the renowned Afrobeats artist whose real name is David Adeleke, has taken to social media to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the passing of his first son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
On October 31, 2023, it marked precisely one year since Davido and his wife lost their child, Ifeanyi, who tragically drowned at his father's Banana Island residence on October 31, 2022, at the age of 3. Ifeanyi was swiftly taken to Evercare Hospital in Lekki, where he was declared dead upon arrival. At that moment, Chioma and Davido were in Ibadan, Oyo State.
In remembrance of his late son, Davido, who had recently welcomed a set of twins with Chioma, expressed the depth of his sorrow. He shared a dove symbol on his verified X platform (formerly Twitter) and also posted the same tribute on the insta-stories section of his official Instagram account, which boasts 28.1 million followers.
