Burna Boy, Fireboy win big at 2023 BMI Awards [Video]

Nigerian music sensations Burna Boy and Fireboy DML showcased their brilliance at the BMI London Awards 2023. Both artists received the prestigious 'Most Performed Work of the Year' awards, recognizing over 20 outstanding songs.

Burna Boy's 'Last Last' and Fireboy's 'Peru,' in collaboration with British singer Ed Sheeran, were among the distinguished honorees.

In addition, Nigerian record producer Richard Isong, known as P2J, secured the 'Impact Award.' The event also celebrated British legend Gary Kemp, who received the esteemed 'Icon Award.'

Furthermore, American singer Doja Cat's afrobeat-inspired track, 'Woman,' was honored with the 'Song of the Year' award.
