Anthony Joshua knocks out David Beckham with free-kick challenge [Video]

British boxer of Nigerian descent, Anthony Oluwafemi Olaseni Joshua, who is a two-time heavyweight champion, is making headlines for his football skills rather than his achievements in the boxing ring.

Joshua recently visited his "childhood hero" David Beckham in Miami, Florida, where they both displayed their free-kick techniques at Inter Miami's modern training facility.

In a video shared on his official social media platforms, Beckham is seen delivering a trademark free-kick into the corner of the net. Joshua, while not as graceful as the football legend, showcased his own football prowess by curling the ball brilliantly into the bottom right corner of the net with his instep as he ran up to the ball.

The accompanying caption read, "Kicking ball with my childhood hero 🙌🏾 @davidbeckham."

Anthony Joshua, who is presently waiting for information about his next opponent following the confirmation of the Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk match, had previously expressed a preference for facing the winner of that fight rather than Deontay Wilder. However, if the fight against Wilder doesn't materialize, a matchup against Filip Hrgovic for the IBF heavyweight belt might gain favor.

Joshua, who recently made an appearance as a model for BOSS at Milan Fashion Week, is expected to make a decision about his future in the boxing world soon.
