Wizkid Shows Up in Public For The First Time After Mother's Passing

Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, widely known as Wizkid, has emerged from a period of private mourning following the passing of his mother, Mrs. Jane Dolapo Balogun.

Mrs. Balogun sadly departed last month in Lagos State, plunging Wizkid into a period of introspection and withdrawal from the public eye and social media.

Breaking his silence, the Starboy boss recently made his first public appearance after nearly a month of mourning. As evidenced by circulating photos, Wizkid was spotted at The V&A in London, United Kingdom, where he attended the private viewing of "Gabrielle Chanel Fashion Manifesto" on Wednesday, September 13, 2023.
