Nigerian music sensation Davido has boldly declared Cristiano Ronaldo as the ultimate football legend, edging out Lionel Messi.

Davido took the stage by storm at the 2023 Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Awards, making yet another star-studded appearance after his memorable performance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

With all eyes on him, the DMW maestro didn't hold back, stating that he holds immense admiration for both Ronaldo and Messi, but personally, he leans towards Ronaldo as the greatest of all time.

He said, “Cristiano for me, you know, what outcomes, very, very disciplined,

“I am a very, very disciplined person, you know, and to have that kind of success and to be so disciplined at the same time is something I’ve always admired about him.

“I like both of them. But, I personally, I’m a Ronaldo guy.”

Messi is poised as the frontrunner to secure an unprecedented eighth Ballon d'Or award this year, further extending his record. Meanwhile, Ronaldo, a seven-time recipient of the prestigious honor, notably did not make the cut for this year's 30-man shortlist.
