Ego, the renowned Nigerian singer who once served as Lagbaja's backup singer, is grieving the loss of her husband.
Tragically, Victor Niyi Ogbaro, her beloved spouse, succumbed to the embrace of death in the United States on a fateful Wednesday. The news was shared by Nigerian journalist Chris Kehinde, who expressed his disbelief and sorrow on Thursday.
On his Instagram account, Chris Kehinde posted a poignant picture of the couple, accompanied by a heartrending caption: "Ohh No Victor Niyi Ogbaro, this can't be true. Victor, the husband of Ego, passed away today from what I just learned. May his soul Rest In Peace."
Ego, whose birth name is Nwakaego Iheanacho, had entered into matrimony with Ogbaro back in 2009. However, the couple had been living apart for some time before this tragic loss.
In the midst of this sorrowful news, it's worth noting that Ego had previously removed all traces of Ogbaro from her social media accounts, which had fueled speculations about the challenges their marriage was facing.
