Bukunmi Adeaga Ilori, a well-known skit maker and actress, commonly recognized as Kie Kie, recently shared a surprising revelation about her relationship with her husband, Tunji Ilori. She openly admitted that they were already cohabiting before their official marriage took place. 

According to her, this decision was necessitated by the fact that her rental lease had expired several months prior to their wedding. Kie Kie, who is also a proud mother, disclosed this intriguing detail during her appearance as a guest on the latest episode of the TokeMoments podcast, hosted by the renowned Toke Makinwa.

She said: “My husband and I started living together before we got married because my [house] rent was already due. My rent was due in September, and we were going to get married in January. So, I can’t renew my rent. And we had done our introduction by then. The church wasn’t aware that we were already living together. I was even singing in the church choir then.”

She admitted to initially harbouring fears about marriage, but after a series of heartfelt prayers and contemplation, she eventually took the plunge.

It's worth noting that Kie Kie and her husband exchanged vows in February 2020, and their union was blessed with the arrival of their first child, a daughter named Oluwashonaolami Olori, in November 2022, as previously reported by our source.
