Delta State Government Uncovers Prostitution Hub in Sapele, Seizes Contraband Items [Video]

A video has been circulating on social media, showcasing the Delta State government's exposure of a prostitution hub in Sapele and the subsequent confiscation of illicit items.

The Delta State Government, through its Human Trafficking and Illicit Drugs office, conducted a raid on a well-known hotel along New Road in Sapele and a brothel in the Ogun-Aja area. This operation was part of the government's ongoing efforts to create a drug-free environment in Sapele Local Government Area and throughout Delta State.

In the video footage, the women engaged in prostitution were gathered outside by Delta State Government officials, and various illicit substances were discovered.

Predictably, the video has triggered numerous reactions online. While some criticized the authorities for invading the privacy of these women, arguing that they are patrons, others expressed dismay at the erosion of societal values.
