Nigerian singer and Grammy award, Damini Ogulu, known as Burna Boy, has honoured the memory of Mrs. Jane Dolapo Balogun, the mother of his fellow artist, Wizkid, who recently passed away.
Mrs. Balogun's demise, which occurred last Friday, prompted an outpouring of condolences from celebrities and prominent figures on social media for singer Wizkid and his family.
In a remarkable gesture, Burna Boy temporarily paused his performance at the Afronation Fest in Detroit, United States, to pay homage to the late Mrs. Balogun. He requested the audience to observe a minute of silence in honor of the Starboy boss's mother before singing a verse from their collaborative track, 'Ginger.'
