In his inaugural interview with Manchester City, Josko Gvardiol, the club's recent acquisition, declared Pep Guardiola, the head coach, as the world's finest manager.
Gvardiol, who recently joined Man City from RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga, signed a five-year contract with the European champions.
“Finally, I did it – we did it,” the Croatian international was quoted by Man City’s official website as saying.
“It feels good to be part of this team.
“It is just simple, especially after the perfect season last season, I decided to join City and to become part of this club and learn from the best and of course, to be coached by the best coach [Pep Guardiola] in the world.”
In a post via his Twitter hand, Fabrizio Romano confirmed the deal:
"Manchester City and Leipzig have just signed documents — Joško Gvardiol can be considered new City player! 🚨🔵🇭🇷"
"€90m final fixed fee — no add-ons".
"Long term deal agreed already in June".
"Joško will travel to Manchester tonight, medical on Friday".
"Here we go, confirmed" ✔️
