Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the founder and general overseer of Omega Power Ministries (OPM), has refuted the claims of a woman who accused him of impregnating her. He also revealed that he was a victim of a blackmail scheme orchestrated by some unscrupulous individuals.
The woman, who was identified as Miss Joy, alleged that she had an affair with the pastor while she was living in his house. She claimed that he had sex with her several times without protection, even though she was engaged to another man. She said that she became pregnant as a result of their relationship and that the pastor abandoned her.
However, Apostle Chinyere denied the allegations and said that they were fabricated to tarnish his image and reputation. He said that he was shocked and saddened by the false accusations, which he described as baseless and unfounded. He maintained his innocence and integrity, stating that he had always upheld the moral values and principles of his ministry.
In a surprising turn of events, the pastor exposed an alleged blackmail attempt against him on his Facebook page. He shared a news report that showed how two journalists, Mr. Chris Ali and Ogbonna Lucky, confessed that they were hired by some unknown persons to write and publish damaging stories about him. The journalists said that they were offered money to smear the pastor's name and reputation with lies and scandals.
The news report also showed how the journalists were arrested by the police and how they apologized to Apostle Chinyere for their involvement in the blackmail plot.
The pastor thanked God for vindicating him from the false allegations and blackmail attempt. He also thanked his followers and supporters for their prayers and solidarity. He urged them to remain steadfast in their faith and not to be distracted by the enemies of the gospel.
