Emmanuel Myam, known as Emmiwuks, the enthusiastic fan who undertook a long bicycle journey from Benue State to Lagos to meet singer Davido, has successfully reached his destination.
Emmiwuks completed his journey and arrived in Lagos on Friday, August 18, 2023, where he was heartily received by the Tiv community residing in the state.
The news of Emmiwuks' arrival was shared by Olikita Ekani, a former media aide to the former Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom, through a Facebook post on Friday evening.

He wrote, “Emmi Wuks, fast-rising celebrity, bicycle rider, and ardent supporter of Nigerian music superstar Davido has finally arrived in Lagos.
“He was welcomed by Mdzough U Tiv Lagos State members and Benue Chubby Queen Miss Kpadoo Upev.
“Congratulations and best wishes to him!”
Nollywood Times recalls that Davido had previously advised the fan to "turn around," explaining that he was currently out of the country. However, the determined fan persisted in his journey. In response, Davido requested the fan's account number to provide a token of support and also promised to meet him in person upon his return.
