Ahmed Oloade, popularly known as Asake, achieved a historic milestone on Sunday night by becoming the first emerging Nigerian artist to sell out the iconic O2 Arena in London, United Kingdom, with a capacity of 20,000.
The charismatic performer, renowned for his hit track "Mr Money," made a dramatic entrance to the stage via a helicopter, eliciting ecstatic cheers from his devoted fans.
During his mesmerizing performance, Asake presented a blend of songs from his debut album, 'Mr Money With The Vibe,' as well as selections from his second project, 'Work Of Art.'
In a remarkable collaboration, he shared the stage with his fellow YBNL label mate, Fireboy DML, alongside Lil Kesh and a lineup of other esteemed artists.
With this achievement, Asake joins the ranks of Nigerian music luminaries such as Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy, who have previously accomplished sold-out shows at the illustrious O2 Arena. Moreover, Rema is slated to headline his own concert at this prestigious venue later this year, further solidifying the presence of Nigerian talents on the global music stage.
