It's not the first time that Nigerians have been scammed in fact it has happened several times. Now, a video of workers at the Dangote Refinery revealing the state of affairs at the petroleum company has surfaced online and generated mixed reactions.

In the video, the workers expose the development state of the refinery as they asserted that work is not near completion as disclosed earlier to Nigerians.

Recall that the Dangote Refinery, an oil refinery owned by Aliko Dangote  was inaugurated on the 22nd of May 2023 in Lekki, Nigeria.

The Dangote Refinery which was commissioned by former president, Muhammadu Buhari was said to have the capacity to process about 650,000 barrels per day of crude oil, making it the largest single-train refinery in the world.

Contrary to the information that the refinery has been completed and work has started, some set of workers said the information was absolutely nothing but a lie.

Sharing the video of the uncompleted refinery, the workers said “Na lie, work never finish, Nigeria na scam.”

@EmaazDr: THEY DON LOSE THEIR WORK LIKE THIS 😂😭

@kainjinodam: Common dude! This is not how these things work. That same refinery will continue to add components and units to continue to get the most out of the refining process. Besides, there is schedule of operation as well as sequencing of units. Large projects don’t run like a carpentry shed.

@AbajaEze: It clearly shows, they have never worked on a project before.

@lollylarry1: May God always give us wisdom whenever we want to act foolishly.

@unknownthedj_: E be like say work don finish for Una be that.

@Nithsmit: Do you know how many real estate companies might had sold out when they said Dangote refinery was opened ?

@fineboydev:  Work no dey finish for refinery normally now 😂.

@whizbee:  And the editor couldn’t blur their face.. smh.

@I_am_chrisay: These ones don’t have idea of the schedule of works or operations and they are in no position to give this take or assertion. These guys are probably casual workers.
