As the flames rise in France, Charly Boy, disgusted with the way things are going on in the country, dropped a tweet calling Nigerian youths to reject the current situation in the country and fight for their right. The post generated serious heat and discussion from many Twitter calling for the arrest of the singer.
Leading the campaign is Bayo Onanuga, the aide of President Bola Tinubu. He, however, called on security agencies to call Charly Boy to order for allegedly inciting Nigerian youths.

This isn’t Syria, Iraq or Afghanistan. This is France where 9% of the population has brought down entire cities!

However, reacting on Twitter, Mr. Onanuga described the musician’s post as “highly irresponsible”.
The journalist said, “Highly irresponsible for a 73-year-old man Charly Boy asking ‘exceptional Nigerian youths’ to burn down the ‘criminal enterprise’, which he called Nigeria. The security agencies should call this old man to order immediately.”
Some social media users have also joined in calling for Charly Boy’s arrest.

Normally, Charly Boy is possessed. For a man of his age to be dressing like a woman and calling himself a boy, you should know that something has definitely taken over him. And the doors of deliverance are closed for him.

Your call for insurrection is actuated by your inherent spirit of malice,BITTERNESS,hatred,& your long standing ill-wish against our collective existence as a country.
Kindly note that Nigerian Government and its institutions respect foundemental human rights as pro pic.twitter.com/l9R5AeTXIY
But, the septuagenarian clarified in a follow-up comment to his original post that he did not incite the youths as assumed.
