Another Nigerian chef begins 150-hour cook-a-thon, eyes Hilda Baci’s title [Video]

Guinness World Record will respect Nigeria after this year and would have to create a special book for Nigerians because the way Nigerian are hitting the body now is totally unexpected. While we are yet to conclude digesting the whole Chef Dammy episode, here comes another chef in the kitchen cooking.

Know her name well, because for the rest of this week, you will hear of no other but the Nigerian chef, Adeyeye Adeola. She has joined the race to displace Hilda Baci and set a new Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon (individual).

The Ondo-based lady, Adeola’s cook-a-thon began on Friday, June 30, 2023, and is scheduled to conclude on Thursday, July 6, 2023. Nigerians have been streaming her live video session to see how far she can go.

Hilda Baci who only recently got her plaque from the Guinness World Record had earlier been challenged by another chef, Adeparusi Damilola who cooked for 120 hours, although she didn’t notify the record body before embarking on the journey.

Despite the controversy trailing her mission, the Ondo State chef remains determined to break the record, as she claims to have been preparing intensely for the cook-a-thon. She has currently on 31 hours as at the time of submitting this report.
