2023 WWC: Ohale claims Player of the Match in Super Falcon’s win against Australia [Video]

After a convincing 3-2 victory against Australia at Lang Park, Brisbane, on Thursday, Osinachi Ohale won the Player of the Match. Ohale scored Nigeria’s second goal in the five-goal thriller.

However, the experienced centre-back nodded home from close range after McKenzie Arnold nodded Asisat Oshoala’s header into her path.

It was the 31-year-old’s second-ever goal for the nine-time African champions.

The defender has made 31 appearances for the Super Falcons.

Goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie won the award in Super Falcons’ first game against Canada.
