Once you are destined for greatness, even if all the host of hell unleash their attacks and terror on you, there will always be a way of escape for you. Katia Aveiro, sister to football icon Cristiano Ronaldo, said their mother, Dolores, considered aborting the Portugal superstar.

Ronaldo played his 200th game for Portugal in international football on Tuesday night.

Aveiro took to Instagram to post that her mother had considered abortion before giving birth to one of the greatest footballers of all time.

She tweeted: “Dolores wanted to have an abortion. But something stopped her at the last minute, and that baby was born. 39 years ago, Mother Dolores made the decision.”

Her translated post goes:

"Cristiano Ronaldo was born with the ticket of the convicts of misfortune

1.
Cristiano Ronaldo will complete an unthinkable number of internationalisations in Iceland today: the first player in all football history to play 200 times for a national team!

A stratospheric number.
And even more unmatched if we take into account that Cristiano has already conquered everything.

He is a millionaire
You can do whatever you like for the rest of your days.
Could be enjoying the fame and money.
You could legitimately give your body a little rest, let yourself soften a bit, enjoy your houses, your pools, travel without being on an internship, give yourself a vacation, but no...

.... Cristiano Ronaldo doesn't do it.

When so many give up because they can't take traveling anymore.

When some, also in Portugal, prefer to concentrate in clubs because the strength is no longer the same, because the age is no longer the Same, because the family asks for more attendance, because the legs don't give any more, he doesn't miss an internship.

And when the newcomers arrive to the selection he's there to welcome them.

And when a game is over, Cristiano, our Cristiano, rots rich, instead of slipping and enjoying the money, dips his body in cold water to recover faster for the next game.

2.
Cristiano Ronaldo is a flawless guy
Self-centered.
V e d a y.
Individualist.
At a time when the perfections who do no harm to a fly are glorified, those who pretend to be dead, the dreams that then hide vices and perversities behind them, it is a relief that Cristiano is the opposite.
A relief that, by his example, has proven to us that there are no tickets awarded to the Stars or the Eternal Flames.
Cristiano was born condemned to be nothing. I could survive, I could do a lot of fake life and score occasional goals that would hide the weight of the weight I was carrying.
But his talent, his ability to work and the pact he signed with destiny, has turned all the prophecies of reverse.

3.
Christian who was born when he wasn't born.

Dolores' mother couldn't take it anymore."

Ronaldo became the first male footballer in history to play 200 international games and went on to score the only goal in the 1-0 victory over Iceland in the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying match.
