It has been weeks of drama in the entertainment industry as always. After being accused of making her get an abortion by Yvonne Nelson, Sarkodie has come out to speak on the claim. He didn't just speak about it, no he wrote a song to respond which is a reason one should be careful with singers, they will write a song about you.
In her ‘I Am Not Yvonne’ book, which was published a week ago, the Ghanaian actress criticized the Ghanaian rapper for getting her pregnant and not taking enough responsibility for telling her to terminate the pregnancy.
‘He said no‘ Yvonne detailed in a chapter of her book where she said “I wasn’t the only one responsible for the situation, so I called the man whose potent seed had germinated in me. His name is Michael Owusu Addo, a renowned Ghanaian musician who is better known as Sarkodie”.
“Sarkodie was a budding musician with the potential to become one of the biggest artists in Ghana and beyond. At the time, however, the future looked uncertain, and his way through the maze of life still appeared too foggy to predict. Success was not guaranteed. He was still living with his mother and was not ready to carry a burden while he was being carried by his mother,” she added.
Sarkodie finally responded to the accusations made in his new song “Try Me,” claiming that he wasn’t the only one who called for the abortion. He reported that Yvonne Nelson said she was in school at the time and couldn’t have kept it.
