BREAKING: U-20 World Cup: Flying Eagles crash out after defeat to Korea Republic

After an impressive win over Argentina, Nigeria Flying Eagles could not hold their own against Korea Republic on Sunday as they lost to the Asians 1-0 and got eliminated from this year’s FIFA U-20 World Cup.

The Flying Eagles failed to score in over 120 minutes of the encounter.

However, the Koreans grabbed the winner in the 95th minute through C. Seok-Hyun, after there were no goals in regulation time.

They will now face Italy in the semi-finals of the competition.
