This week, Rema's collaboration with Selena Gomez, 'Calm Down', has broken a record by spending 18 consecutive weeks at the top of the chart. This surpasses Wizkid and Tems' 2020 hit 'Essence', which held the top spot for 17 weeks.
Despite this achievement, 'Calm Down' has slipped to No. 5 on the main Billboard Hot 100 chart this week.
Last week, the Nigerian song "Calm Down" achieved the No. 4 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, marking it as the highest-ranking and most enduring Nigerian song in the chart's history.
