U-20 World Cup: 8 countries eliminated from tournament, see full list of the round of 16 features

The ongoing 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina has seen the exit of eight countries as of Sunday night from the competition. The eight teams eliminated from the World Cup are Guatemala, Fiji, Japan, Senegal, Dominican Republic, Iraq, France and Honduras.

However, Iraq crashed out after playing a 0-0 draw with England on Sunday night, while France defeated Honduras 3-1.

All the eight teams finished with the lowest points in their respective groups.

Meanwhile, the fixtures for the Round of 16 have already been confirmed after the final group stage fixtures on Sunday night.

The Round of 16 fixtures will commence on Tuesday night and end on Thursday night.

USA vs New Zealand      – 6.30 pm on Tuesday

Uzbekistan vs Israel       – 10 pm on Tuesday

Colombia vs Slovakia     – 6.30 pm on Wednesday

Brazil vs Tunisia             – 6.30 pm on Wednesday

Argentina vs Nigeria       – 10 pm on Wednesday

England vs Italy             – 10 pm on Wednesday

Gambia vs Uruguay        – 6.30 pm on Thursday

Ecuador vs South Korea  – 10 pm on Thursday
