Today we are taking a peep into the life and football career of Roberto  Firmino.

Roberto Firmino Barbosa de Oliveira, commonly known as Roberto Firmino, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Liverpool and the Brazil national team. 

He was born on 2nd October, 1991, in Maceió, Brazil. Firmino began his professional career with Figueirense in Brazil before moving to Hoffenheim in Germany in 2011.

He joined Liverpool in 2015 and has since become a key player for the club, helping them win the Premier League, Champions League, and Club World Cup.

Firmino is known for his technical ability, work rate, and versatility on the pitch. 

He has also represented his country Brazil at the 2015 Copa América, 2018 FIFA World Cup, and 2019 Copa América.

As of this report, Roberto Firmino has scored a total of 109 goals for Liverpool in all competitions.

Last month, Roberto Firmino confirmed that he would be leaving Liverpool at the end of his contract. 

He has decided to leave Liverpool as free agent at the end of the current season, despite new contract proposal, the Brazilian football star has decided together with his family that he’s not going to accept the proposal and he’s leaving in July, a source stated.

Roberto Firmino said he is very grateful to Liverpool, the club, the coach and all the staff but he wants to try a new challenge, as revealed by @skysportde @plettigoal.

"Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool board have been informed by the player, he’s gonna say goodbye in June", the source added.

According to The Daily Mail, which reported also over the weekend, Firmino had agreed to join Barcelona, while Real Madrid and several other clubs in the Serie A sides have also been credited with an interest.

The value of the deal is not yet fully confirmed.

 The report further stated that Liverpool has already signed Roberto Firmino's successor.

Tallking about Roberto Firmino's personal life or lifestyle, based on public information, Firmino is known for his love of music and often posts videos of himself singing and playing instruments on social media. He is also a devout Christian and has spoken publicly about his faith. 

In terms of his diet and fitness, Firmino follows a strict regimen to maintain his physical condition as a professional athlete.
