I was forced to lay on a hard cold floor – Seun Kuti recounts prison experience

After spending good eight days in detention, Kuti was finally granted bail during the week, precisely Tuesday, and the singer has finally opened up on his prison experience.

The singer was remanded at the State Criminal Investigations and Intelligence Department, SCIID, Panti, Yaba, Lagos on the orders of the Yaba Chief Magistrate Court for assaulting a police officer in a viral video.

Seun took to his Instastory on Friday to share his harsh experience in jail.

He said he was made to lay down on a “hard cold floor, in the midst of prisoners.”

He, however, added that it was “still better than sitting in the devil’s house with politicians.”
