Don Jazzy, the music producer, has marked the 11th year anniversary of Mavin Records, his record label.
Don Jazzy, took to his Instagram page to share a short video that summarises the label’s accomplishments in the past 11 years. He also thanked everyone who has supported the label, including members of the music group whom he described as “the best team in the world”.
“My baby is 11 today. They say time flies when you are having fun. I cannot believe it’s 11 years already cos trust me it feels like yesterday,” he wrote.
“The family keeps growing from strength to strength, breaking boundaries and impacting lives positively.
“All these won’t be possible without you the fans, our brand partners, friends and well wishers. Thank you so much for the love and support always.
“And to the best team in the world, thank you so much and stay relentless to the core. You know we are just getting started. Happy Birthday Mavin.”
Mavin Records was founded on May 8, 2012, following the closure of Mo’ Hits Records, a record label owned by Don Jazzy and D’banj.

Mavin Records was founded on May 8, 2012, following the closure of Mo’ Hits Records, a record label owned by Don Jazzy and D’banj.
The label has grown to become one of the biggest Afropop institutions.
In over a decade of its establishment, the label has put out two music collaborations, including Chapter ‘X‘, their latest project, which housed the famous track ‘Overdose‘.
‘Chapter X’ was launched in 2022 to mark the label’s 10th year anniversary.
Marvin Records is home to music stars such as Rema, Ladipoe, Crayon, Magixx, Johnny Drille, and Boy Spyce.
It also gave fame to the likes of Tiwa Savage, Reekado Banks, Wande Coal, and Korede Bello.
