An update on the case between the Nigerian Police and popular Nigerian singer, Seun Kuti has it that the chief magistrate court in Yaba, Lagos state granted the singer bail.
On Tuesday, May 16, the court granted Seun bail and also directed the police to investigate the alleged attack on an officer within 48 hours.
Nollywood Times reported that Seun Kuti’s car was halted on the Third Mainland Bridge, and the son of the famed Fela Kuti was detained for slapping an officer.
But the defence counsel, Femi Falana, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), begged the court not to remand his client.
