Virginity Saga: Daddy Freeze and Destiny Etiko engages in war of words

Nigerian media personality Ifedayo Olarinde, aka Daddy Freeze, and Destiny Etiko, are at each other's throats on the internet over the latter's virginity saga. Earlier, Destiny Etiko, while denying ever saying she was a virgin, took a swipe at Daddy Freeze for his live Instagram session reaction.

Freeze on the other hand, a controvesial trouble maker, addressed Etiko's outburst via a video message shared on his Instagram page. He wondered why Etiko dragged him in public after apologizing to him in private.

He blamed the actress for not having a strong Public Relations team to debunk the viral report on time.

He added that he did not tarnish Etiko’s image in his reaction to the alleged claim, wondering when virginity turned to insult.

Daddy Freeze said, “I don’t know that virgin has turned to insult. She never granted the interview, nor did she debunk it. In no way did I insult or diminish her brand. Let me warn you, do you know those who want to pay to be in my live and the calibre of people in my live? I quit the radio to do this cause it pays more, and it is more fulfilling.

“I spoke to her through Soso Soberekon and she apologized. Why would you apologize to me in private and insult me in public?”
