Star American gymnast, Simone Biles officially marries her fellow athlete and lover, Jonathan Owens. The beautiful couple reveals this via their social media accounts on Saturday by sharing pictures of the private ceremony.
Biles was dressed in a layered, strappy, white wedding gown, while her husband donned on a tan suit as they exchanged vows in a courthouse.
“I do 🤍. Officially Owens,” she wrote. “I never knew a love so deep @jowens.”
The American football player also took to his Instagram page, where he shared pictures from the event.
Biles told Wall Street Journal that the lovebirds met in March 2020 via a dating app, Raya. They began spending time together during the Covid-19 lockdown, which meant a less hectic schedule for them as athletes.
They went public with their relationship in August 2020, after the gymnast posted a picture of herself cozied up with Owens. A day after 2022’s Valentine’s Day, the couple announced they were officially engaged.
