Notorious terrorist leader brandishes new Naira notes, boasted of having up to N10m buy more weapons [Video]

Kachalla Baleri, a notorious terrorist leader in a viral video, brandishes wads of new Naira notes amid the scarcity currently plaguing the nation.

The trending video was released on Twitter by @Edrees4P on Wednesday, February 1. In the video, the terrorist spoke in the Hausa language claiming that he had up to N10 million of the new naira notes to buy more weapons.

According to our source, Punch, some defence blogs said the new naira notes in his possession were ransom he allegedly received from relatives of abductees.

Kachalla was one of the 19 bandits/terrorists kingpins that were declared wanted by the Defence Headquarters in November 2022.

The military also placed a N5 million bounty on each of them.

The wanted persons have been terrorising Katsina, Sokoto, and Zamfara States.
