Former BBNaija housemate and Singer, Whitemoney took to social media to call out fellow Nigerians amid the new currency drama in the country.
On Monday, the Nigerian entertainer fumed in a video he shared on his Instastory channel as he recounted an ugly incident at a recent outing.
WhiteMoney described how at the party he attended saw money hawkers with huge bundles of the new currency that were up for sale.
The BBNaija Ex-housemate wondered how the individuals could get their hands on the notes when banks in the country have not been able to due to the scarcity of new notes across the country.
He said that to his utter dismay, the hawkers sold N700k for as high as N1 million and pocketed N300k in profit.
He went on to lash out at fellow citizens, adding that Nigerians are the cause of their own problems.
Currently, naira notes are scarce in the country; even banks and POS operators do not have enough cash. Some POS operators have hiked the charges to as high as N500 for N2,000.
