The Nigerian singer sold over 500,000 copies of her song ‘Higher’ in the United States, as confirmed by the reputable chart news platform Chart Data. The sales have automatically made it eligible for a plaque.
‘Higher’ is one of the singles on her EP, ‘For Broken Ears,’ which was released in 2020, and the song will be earning the 27-year-old Nigerian singer her second solo RIAA certification, following the gold certification of ‘Free Mind’ in 2022.
Tems has leveraged and maintained her international recognition since her rise to stardom in 2020, and the results of her efforts on ‘Essence’ with Wizkid sealed that further.
Tems remains one of the most RIAA-certified artists in Nigeria with a platinum certification on songs like ‘Essence’ and ‘Wait For U,’ as well as her solo gold certifications for ‘Free Mind’ and ‘Higher.’
.@temsbaby's "Higher" has now sold over 500,000 units in the US.
