Paul Okoye of P Square declared being single for four years before meeting Ifeoma

Paul Okoye of the 'P Square' fame has revealed how long he has been unmarried before meeting his partner, Ifeoma. During an Instagram live session with his fans on Tuesday, the singer said he was unmarried for four years and was divorced before hooking up with Ifeoma.

The statement is coming as a response to fans' questions about his marriage with Anita, the mother of his three children. He ended the speculation as to if he was dating Ifeoma while still married to Anita.

He said, "I have been single for 4 years and I have been divorced for a long time. I don divorce sef before I found Ifeoma."

Paul has been making headlines for a week now after unveiling his new girlfriend on social media.

On the 20th of December, an Abuja High Court in the Federal Capital Territory, Maitama, finalised the couple's divorce proceedings with five charges brought against Paul by Anita.

In 2004, while both were undergraduate students at the University of Abuja, Paul met Anita.

In Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on March 22, 2014, they got married.

Their union has produced three children, Andre, born in 2013, and the twins, Nathan and Nadia, born in 2017.
