Kamal Adebayo, the father of skit maker Isbae U just died. The late Nollywood actor is known popularly as Sir Kay by colleagues and fans. Sir Kay is famous for his charisma and distinct slang in Yoruba movies.
The death was announced by the Chairman of the Lagos State Parks and Garages Management Committee, Musiliu Akinsanya, aka MC Oluomo, on Tuesday via his Instagram page.
MC Oluomo wrote, “It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of Alhaji Kamal Adebayo (Sir Kay). May Allah grant him eternal rest. RIP Sir Kay.”
Sir Kay died Tuesday after Isbae U, his son, surprised him with N1 million cash as a birthday gift a few months ago.
The cause of his death is unknown yet, although he is believed to have been battling an ailment for a while now.
