Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have been rivals on the soccer pitch for a long time. They have played in different leagues, the same leagues, and now at different leagues. They have also played against each other with their clubs. Days of El Classico cannot be forgotten in a hurry. 

They both played for different countries and might be lucky enough to meet each other at the World Cup in Qatar. However, they surprisingly are playing on the same team but not on the pitch. The superstars are collaborating with Louis Vuitton on a marketing campaign ahead of the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Both players posted the same picture on their Instagram account, where they can be seen face to face while playing a chess match with a Louis Vuitton suitcase as a board.

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo made the post in what appears to be a paid advertisement campaign by the French brand.

Both of their captions read: "Victory is a State of Mind. A long tradition of crafting trunks".
