Barcelona is up against English rival Manchester United in the Europa League. This was confirmed after Monday's draw which set up a mouthwatering fixture that everyone looks up to.
There have been speculations that the draw might bring the two big clubs together. However, the draw of Monday rested the speculations. The tie was the first to be drawn, leaving fans excited from the beginning of the Europa League draw.
The Catalans and the Red Devils have met on 13 occasions previously, most recently in the 2018/19 Champions League quarter-finals. Then, Barcelona won 1-0 at Old Trafford and 3-0 at the Camp Nou.

These two sides have also met in recent Champions League finals, with Barcelona winning against United in both Rome and London under Pep Guardiola.
Manchester United has more history in the Europa League than Barcelona, particularly in recent years. With Jose Mourinho in charge, United won the competition in 2017.
