Breaking: Davido and Chioma’s son, Ifeanyi is dead

Davido and his partner Chioma lost their three-year-old son, Ifeanyi, Monday evening. The singer’s son allegedly drowned in the swimming pool in their Banana Island residence.

According to reports, Ifeanyi was under water for a very long time before being spotted. They rushed him to Lagoon Hospital, but he was confirmed dead on arrival.

Recall that Ifeanyi’s third birthday was celebrated in grand style on October 20 before his death.

A viral video had earlier shown Davido teaching his son how to swim. In another video, Davido was seen in the big pool in his mansion with Ifeanyi. He was teaching Ifeanyi some swimming skills.

He carried the three-year-old boy and made him flap his legs in the water while he gave instructions on what to do. The singer later carried his son around in the pool as the boy continued to flap his legs.

This was not the first time a celeb’s son would die in a swimming pool. In fact, popular Afrobeats artiste Dbanj also lost his son in a swimming pool.
