Kanye West is counting his loss – he lost $2bn in a day, he reacts

Embattled American rapper and fashion designer, Kanye West, after several brands severed relationships with him, has lost $2 billion within a space of 24 hours over anti-Semitic comments.

Recall Nollywood Times reported that the singer was out of Forbes’s list of billionaires after losing the Adidas deal. Now other brands that cut ties with West include Balenciaga, MRC (the entertainment studio shelved an already finished Ye documentary), his talent agency CAA, Jaylen Brown and Aaron Donald, Foot Locker, The RealReal, T.J. Maxx, Madame Tussauds.

Reacting to the loss, the rapper, in a post on Instagram and posted:

“I lost 2 billion dollars in one day, and I’m still alive. This is love speech, I still loves you; the money is not who I am, the people is who I am.”

Furthermore, Kanye’s school, Donda Academy, got hit too by the Sunami of problems as they were dropped from a high school tournament because of the rapper’s utterances.
