According to reports, Johnny Depp, the Pirate of the Caribbean star, is dating an attorney who represented him in the U.K. trial that he didn’t win.
The lawyer’s name is Joelle Rich. Rich is a lawyer in the U.K. and currently in the process of getting divorced from her estranged husband. She shares two kids with the man. Her bio says she “works to defend [clients’] reputations against false and defamatory allegations in print, online, and on social media.” She also claims to have “particular expertise in protecting individuals’ privacy from unwarranted intrusion and media attention.”
During the Virginia trial of Depp against Amber Heard, though she did not represent Depp in the trial, she was present in the courtroom.
However, many people had speculated Depp was dating his other attorney, Camille Vasquez, but now it has been confirmed that he apparently was not. Vasquez also went as far as to call that assumption “sexist.”
We wish Depp and Rich a happy time together and hope it lasts.
