A High Court sitting in Lagos, has granted the Obidient Movement Group and Labour Party members in Lagos, rights to hold a peaceful rally come October 1st, 2022.
The court however ruled that the rally will go on, but ordered them not to converge at the Lekki toll gate
Justice Daniel Osiagor made the order today while ruling on a motion for injunction brought by 10 plaintiffs, who are asking the court to, among others, restrain the LP, its presidential candidate Peter Obi, his running mate Datti Baba-Ahmed, one Julius Abure and their loyalists from holding the rally.
Alex Ejesieme SAN (Obodo Gee) led the Lawyers for Obidient Movement and Labour Party at the Federal High Court Lagos, today.
