Reports reaching Nollywood Times via our source indicated that the EFCC just apprehended the Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Olakunle Oluomo, at the Muritala Muhammad Airport, Lagos State.
He was said to have been arrested over allegations of financial crime issues.
According to an anonymous staff at the assembly, the speaker was to have been picked up this morning at the Murtala Mohammed Airport, Ikeja, Lagos, by operatives following a tip-off. He is said to be undergoing further questioning in the agency's custody at the time of filing this report.

The reports said Oluomo has been on the commission's wanted list because he failed to honour countless invitations by the EFCC.
Oluomo, together with some others, were accused of forging signatures and financial documents of the assembly.
Confirmation from the EFCC still proves abortive due to the failure to reach the spokesman of the Lagos Zonal office.
