New Release: Fireboy DML dropped his third Studio Album, ‘Playboy’

Cheery news to fans of Fireboy DML is that the Nigerian talent has released his long-awaited third studio album titled “Playboy.”

Fireboy unveiled the 14-track album today, Friday the 5th of August 2022. “Playboy” includes his viral hit singles “Peru” and “Peru remix” featuring Ed Sheeran.

The album also includes features by Asake, Chris Brown, and Shensea.

In July, Fireboy tweeted the cover of the album, date of release, and pre-save link. The post goes thus: 

“My third studio album, “playboy,” – is out on the 5th of August, available for pre-save now.”

“Playboy” follows Fireboy’s 2020 album “Apollo” and his 2019 debut album “Laughter, Tears, and Goosebumps.”

The year has been good for the YBNL signee because, during the 2022 BET Awards, he wrote his name in the annals of history as the first afrobeat performer at that award with a live rendition of “Playboy.”

In addition, this February, he reached 300million+ streams on Audiomack and was presented with a plaque for this feat.

His debut album Laughter, Tears, and Goosebumps amassed 153 million streams, and his sophomore album Apollo raked 154 million plays on Audiomack. The rest of the streams were generated by his singles.
